US Navy Awards $99M Petroleum Systems Design IDIQ to 8 Firms


U.S. NavyThe U.S. Navy has awarded eight companies a $99 million combined contract to design petroleum, oils and lubricants systems for various Navy and Marine Corps installations worldwide.

The contract is part of the Navy’s preparation of design-build request for proposals, cost estimates, planning documents, specifications, reports and evaluations of POL components, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The awardees are:

  • Austin Brockenbrough and Associates
  • Argus Consulting, Enterprise Engineering
  • GTP Consulting Engineers
  • Robert and Co.
  • Burns and McDonnell Engineering Co.
  • Enterprise-Brockenbrough JV
  • Pond and Co.

The companies will perform work within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command’s area of responsibility worldwide through August 2020.

The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center received 12 bids for the contract via the FedBizOpps website.
