Army Awards Viper Radios Order to General Dynamics, Thales


Thales Vipe radio systemTYSONS CORNER, VA September 9, 2015 — General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has subcontracted Thales to provide Vehicle Integrated Power Enhanced Rifleman radio systems in support of a U.S. Army contract worth $20 million, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Defense News said Friday the order is for 1, 100 Viper radios for use by the Army’s 82nd and 101st Airborne Division combat brigades.
