Andras Szakal, Dan Chenok Highlight FedRAMP Mobile Benefits

IBM logoTYSONS CORNER, VA September 30, 2015 — Dan Chenok and Andras Szakal of IBM (NYSE: IBM) have highlighted security and continuous monitoring among the benefits of FedRAMP’s mobile offerings to agencies and the public, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Chenok, vice president and chief technology officer of IBM’s federal business, and Szakal, executive director of the IBM Center for the Business of Government, in a blog post published this week also enumerated other benefits to include device integration, device policy enforcement and threat detection.

“FedRAMP has come into the mobile world, and this is paying benefits for government, ” they said in the coauthored piece.

“FedRAMP reviews of cloud-based mobile solutions are linking mobile technologies with cloud capabilities in a secure manner; in turn, FedRAMP’s progress can drive the government to provide significantly enhanced services at greater speed, more focused on the needs of the user, and at lower cost.”
