Robert Fleming, a 10-year veteran of Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), has been named vice president for cyber, unattended systems and division strategy at the company’s advanced land and self-protection systems division.

His appointment is effective immediately and he will be in charge of unmanned aircraft sensor and electronic attack technology programs, Northrop said Wednesday.

He will also manage the organization’s cyber portfolio, as well as develop and implement business growth strategies for the division.

Fleming began his tenure at Northrop as engineering technical director of the E-2D Integrated Cockpit development program in 2005 and later held program and functional management roles.

He directed the L&SPS division’s strategic planning activities before he took the VP position.
