Raytheon to Support Navy Over-The-Horizon Radar System for $65M


Raytheon logoRaytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) integrated defense systems business will provide engineering and program support for the over-the-horizon radar system of the U.S. Navy‘s Forces Surveillance Support Center under a $65.1 million contract.

The Defense Department said Monday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, sole-source contract covers an ordering period of four years.

Raytheon will perform work in Virginia, Massachusetts, Alabama, Texas and Puerto Rico through August 2019.

The obligated amount of $2 million is from the Navy’s fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance funds, DoD said.
