DLA Taps SAIC, Noble for $577M Northeast Zone MRO Services IDIQ


LogisticsThe Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Science Application International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and Noble Supply & Logistics positions on a potential five-year, $577.5 million contract to provide maintenance, repair and operations support for zones 1 and 2 of the Northeast region.

DLA awarded $315 million to SAIC and $262.5 million to Noble through competitive acquisition process with 10 proposals received, the Defense Department said Monday.

Work will occur at the firms’ facilities in New Jersey and Massachusetts through Aug. 17, 2020, under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy and other federal civilian agencies can use the MRO services offered by both contractors.

The DLA Troop Support is funding the contracts using defense working capital funds from fiscal 2015 to fiscal 2020.
