ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has been awarded a potential three-year, $174 million prime contract to support unmanned technologies for the U.S. Navy‘s surface and subsurface mine countermeasures operations.

The company said Friday it will collaborate with Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific to design, build, install, test and field unmanned maritime systems.

Daniel Keefe, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s mission solutions and services group, said the company has supported the military branch’s UMS portfolio over the past nine years.

Work covers design, fabrication, installation, test and evaluation, fielding, maintenance, training and configuration and program management services.

ManTech will deploy subject matter experts to naval ships and missions globally through the contract.
