ASMD Gets $100M Navy Design, Engineering Services IDIQ for Defense Policy Review Initiative With Japan


construction-blueprints-designThe U.S. Navy has awarded ASMD a potential five-year, $100 million contract to provide engineering and design services for the construction of facilities and other infrastructure under the Defense Policy Review Initiative of the U.S. and Japanese government.

The Defense Department said Friday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers the execution of DoD 1391 forms used to support military construction funding requests to Congress, provision of design-build request for proposal documents, technical reports and surveys, cost estimates, and charrettes to carry out functional analysis for concept design and development.

The Hawaii-based company will perform work in Guam, Hawaii and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands through August 2020.

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command received seven bids for the firm-fixed-price contract via the FedBizOpps website.

The Japanese government is obligating $20, 000 from its fiscal 2009 direct cash contributions at the time of award.
