Army Follow-on Continues Lockheed Upgrades on Apache Targeting, Pilotage System


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA August 14, 2015 — The U.S. Army has contracted Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) to continue updating the sensor assemblies onboard its AH-64E Apache fleet under a $21.7 million follow-on order, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The new work involves installation of Lot 4 of the laser rangefinder designator kits designed to improve the attack helicopter’s pilotage and targeting features, Lockheed said Wednesday.
