Navy Picks Booz Allen, CSSI, Serco for $200M Air Traffic Control Engineering IDIQ


airport towerThe U.S. Navy‘s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command has awarded positions on a potential five-year, $199.9 million contract to three companies for air traffic control system engineering and technical support services.

Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), CSSI and Serco Group‘s U.S. subsidiary will compete for orders to help SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic engineer, configure and maintain ATC, metereology and oceanography and aviation C5ISR systems, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The companies will perform work at multiple sites across the continental U.S. and Africa as well as in southeast and southwest Asian countries.

DoD said the contract has a one-year base value of $38, 028, 800 and work could extend through July 2020 if options are exercised.

The Navy received six proposals for the program through a solicitation on the SPAWAR and FedBizOpps websites and will obligate $25, 000 in working capital funds at the time of award.
