The company will work to engineer, design, configure and update the Los Angeles, Seawolf, Virginia and Ohio-class submarines, special mission submersible interfaces and submarine facilities, the Defense Department said Friday.
DoD said the contract has a base value of $106, 239, 735 and includes options which would increase the award to its full worth if they are all exercised.
Huntington Ingalls will also conduct research and development and manage the Navy database under the contract.
The company will carry out the work in Newport News, Virginia, through September 2016.
