DLA Taps 7 Firms for Aviation Fuel Supply Contracts


ContractThe Defense Logistics Agency has awarded contracts to seven companies to deliver aviation fuel to the agency’s energy unit.

Defense Logistics Agency Energy in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, received eight proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Work will occur in Hawaii, Texas, California, Alaska and Washington through Oct. 30, 2015.

The awardees are:

  • BP West Coast Products won $16, 002, 215
  • Chevron USA won $24, 892, 515
  • Dyno Oil and Electric won $30, 920, 084
  • Hawaii Independent Energy won $40, 322, 588
  • Petro Star won $30, 345, 213
  • Valero Marketing and Supply Co. won $34, 485, 300
  • Western Refining Co. LP won $30, 891, 600

DLA is using fiscal 2015 defense working capital funds for the fixed-price contracts.
