TYSONS CORNER, VA July 15, 2015 — BAE Systems has landed a $27 million contract to refurbish the Wasp-class USS Iwo Jima amphibious vessel’s tank, ventilation and auxiliary systems and other structural repairs, alterations and upgrades, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.
BAE said it expects work on the phased maintenance at Naval Station Mayport to end by July 2016.
