Accenture Subsidiary to Support VA Info Security Program for $300M


big data2A subsidiary of Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal services business will provide support to the Department of Veterans Affairs‘ Continuous Readiness in Information Security Program under a potential four-year, $300 million contract.

ASM Research will support IT communications and coordination, vulnerability assessments, contingency planning,  operational infrastructure enhancements and compliance with security and privacy regulations, Accenture said Monday.

The contract includes one base year and up to three option years.

According to Accenture, the Crisp platform works to help VA lessen information security risks across its programs.

ASM Research will also support the department’s Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture system for electronic health records.
