Northrop Receives Software Updates Work on AF Drones


northrop Grumman_BLUETYSONS CORNER, VA June 30, 2015 — The U.S. Air Force has awarded Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) Aerospace Systems a $16.2 million contract for software integration work on the service’s Global Hawk fleet of unmanned aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Pentagon said Friday the modification includes corrections to current software deficiencies reported on the UAS ground station, with a period of performance of 18 months.
