The company awarded close to 10 percent of its 2014 fiscal year business to veteran-owned small companies, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.
Parsons received an award from the National Veteran Small Business Coalition for the record, which NVSBC cited for exceeding federal small business goals, Parsons said Monday.
Parsons said it outsourced another 5.5 percent of contracts to service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses, amounting to $168 million in all subcontracts to small firms during the period.
