TYSONS CORNER, VA June 11, 2015 — ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday on CACI International (NYSE: CACI) securing a $32 million contract to help engineer and test electro-optical sensors for the U.S. Navy.

The task order under the Seaport-e vehicle includes test and evaluation, logistics and field engineering work for a base period of one year, two one-year options plus two award term years, CACI said Tuesday.

Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO, indicated that the award provides the company with an opportunity to continue supporting the military service in its mission to build defense readiness and combat sustainability.

“This contract supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division, one of dozens of task orders CACI has won on the SeaPort-e vehicle, further strengthens our position as a prime provider of logistics support on large Department of Defense programs, ” said Asbury, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2015.
