General Atomics Secures Support Work for JFK Carrier Launch, Recovery Systems


General AtomicsTYSONS CORNER, VA June 24, 2015 — ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday on General Atomics being awarded a contract to produce equipment that will help install launch and recovery systems aboard the U.S. Navy’s USS John F. Kennedy (CVN 79) aircraft carrier currently under construction in Newport News.

The company said Monday majority of the work will be performed in Tupelo, Mississippi, with the first deliveries set for 2017.
