US Army Awards $150M Utility Monitoring, Electronic Security Support Contract to Five Firms


security-lock-chipFive companies have won spots on the U.S. Army’s $150 million contract to perform technical and program support services for utility monitoring and electronic security systems programs.

Jacobs (NYSE: JEC), M.C. Dean, Shearer and Associates, Spectrum Solutions and URS Group (NYSE: URS) will deliver the services through May 21, 2020, the Defense Department said Thursday.

The Army Corps of Engineers solicited proposals via the Internet and received seven bids.
