Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) will support the U.S. Fleet Forces Command‘s fleet deployment training program under a potential five-year, $118.5 million task order awarded by the U.S. Navy.The company said Thursday it will help develop and implement fleet training policies and directives, design the curriculum and develop, assess and execute synthetic training and live exercises.
Tom Watson, senior vice president and general manager of SAIC’s Navy and Marine Corps customer group, said the company will work to help sailors prepare for deployment.
SAIC, the task order was awarded under the SeaPort-e multiple-award contract.
