Raytheon Delivers GPS III Control Hardware


Raytheon logoTYSONS CORNER, VA May 18, 2015 — Executive Mosaic — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has delivered the hardware for the GPS OCX controls to Schriver Air Force Base in Colorado, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

GPS OCX functions as GPS III‘s satellite constellation monitor during missions, with upgrades that include precision adjustments and cybersecurity protections.

Raytheon said Thursday the project now moves into the installation, audit and information assurance testing phase, ahead of the modernized ground station’s launch and checkout system acceptance milestone set for 2016.
