GSA Unveils STARS II ‘Open Season’ Schedule for Small Businesses

ITphotoThe General Services Administration is seeking proposals from small businesses for the open season of the 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services II contract during the option period from Aug. 31, 2016 to Aug. 30, 2021.

In a presolicitation notice posted Thursday on FedBizOpps, GSA said it will release the STARS II OS solicitation on May 18 and issue awards around the beginning of the STARS II option period.

The potential $10 billion STARS II governmentwide acquisition contract seeks to provide agencies access to IT services such as computer programming, computer systems design, computer facilities management and other computer-related services.

GSA said interested small businesses are required to have an ACES Business Representative digital certificate to register and submit proposals for STARS II via Noblis‘ AcquServe web portal.
