CenturyLink Launches Hydro-Powered Data Center in Washington


CenturyLinkTYSONS CORNER, VA May 15, 2015 — Executive Mosaic — ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday on CenturyLink picking Moses Lake in central Washington as the site for a new hydroelectric-powered data center.

CenturyLink said Wednesday the location is highly resilient to earthquakes with the lowest seismic rating of 2B, and offers a “green” alternative with a low power usage effectiveness figure.
