Nicholas Paraskevopoulos, a 12-year Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) veteran, has been named vice president and general manager for engineering, manufacturing and logistics in the corporation’s electronic systems segment.

He will manage the sector’s EM&L processes, systems and technical and product lifecycle support services in his new position, Northrop said Thursday.

Paraskevopoulos most recently oversaw the advanced maritime and integrated air and missile defense portfolio.

He previously worked as business development manager of aperture technologies and architectures, as well as managed electronic systems engineering and eastern region engineering and logistics operations at the unit.

Before he joined Northrop in 2003, Paraskevopoulos led Terk Technologies‘ programs to research and develop satellite-based consumer electronics.
