L-3 to Integrate US Army’s Medical Info System; Les Rose Comments

L-3 logoL-3’s (NYSE: LLL) National Security Solutions business has received a $117 million contract to consolidate the U.S. Army’s medical communications for combat casualty care program.

L-3 NSS has begun to perform operational technical support for the tactical medical information system in January and work will continue through December 2019, L-3 said Tuesday.

Les Rose, president of L-3 NSS, said the company will expand its role with the goal of fulfilling the program’s “evolving requirements.”

Medical personnel have access to the MC4 system in order to view patient histories and deliver medical treatment to injured soldiers.

The system provides automated tools designed to facilitate patient tracking, blood management, medical reporting and logistics support.
