CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has received an $86 million task order to develop software for the U.S. Armyâs electronic warfare systems and field the systems to ground and airborne troops.
The company will also coordinate with the C3T Army reprogramming analysis team to deploy the EW systems in order to help soldiers identify threats, CACI said Tuesday.
Ken Asbury, president and CEO of CACI and an inductee into Executive Mosaicâs Wash100 list for 2015, said the software is intended to help commanders make decisions based on battlefield situations.
He also noted that the new task order is the companyâs fifth award on the Army’s Software and Systems Engineering Services Next Generation contract vehicle.
CACI will perform task order work over a one-year base period of performance and up to two option years.
