Air Force Picks 17 for $6B Network Operations Support IDIQ


NGENGlobeThe U.S. Air Force has awarded 17 companies spots on a potential seven-year, $5.79 billion contract meant to provide federal civilian and military agencies with network operations and infrastructure services.

USAF picked the awardees through a small business competition and is obligating a $2, 500 minimum guarantee at the time of award, the Defense Department said Thursday.

This portion of the Network-Centric Solutions-2 contract vehicle family is slated to run through April 1, 2022 and covers network management and defense, services oriented architecture infrastructure, enterprise-level security, management, implementation and operations, and telephony infrastructure and services.

Washington Technology reported Friday that the Air Force issued the set of NETCENTS-2 awards following a review of multiple bid protests.
