15 Firms Land $850M Army Comms Systems Operations Contract


wireless communicationsFifteen companies have won an $850 million contract to operate and maintain classified and unclassified communications systems for the U.S. Army.

The contract contains options and the firms are scheduled to complete work by April 30, 2025, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The contract awardees are:

  • GC&E Systems Group
  • Glacier Technologies
  • Global Management Systems
  • GStek
  • Leader Communications
  • Smartronix
  • Strategic Resources
  • Telos
  • Trowbridge & Trowbridge

The companies will perform telephone, information technology and land mobile radio network management services on continental U.S. network systems.

The Army received 40 bids for the contract via the Internet.
