Raytheon to Supply More USAF Jammer Missiles for $92M


Raytheon logoRaytheon (NYSE: RTN) will continue its support for the U.S. Air Force under a $91.6 million contract modification to exercise the option for Lot 8 of the Miniature Air Launched Decoy Jammer missile program.

The Defense Department said Wednesday Raytheon’s missile systems business will deliver 250 MALD-J missiles and perform work at its facility in Arizona through June 30, 2017.

The contract also covers mission planning, data and process verification support and operational flight software.

DoD said the total value of the modification was obligated at the time of award from the procurement funds for fiscal 2014 and 2015.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base manages the contract.
