Tom Patterson Joins Unisys as Global Security Solutions VP; Peter Altabef Comments


Unisys logoTom Patterson, formerly general manager of the cybersecurity consulting business at Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC), has joined Unisys (NYSE: UIS) as vice president for the security solutions business group.

The more than 25-year industry veteran will oversee the organization’s strategic programs and efforts to build integrated security technologies for public and private sector customers worldwide, Unisys said Monday.

“Tom combines strong leadership abilities with deep industry knowledge, technical expertise, and a passion for critical infrastructure protection around the world, ” said Peter Altabef, Unisys president and CEO.

Before CSC, Patterson served as a chief security officer at MagTek and as CEO of Command Information, an Internet services provider that he founded and led from 2004 to 2008.

He also held leadership roles at Deloitte, KPMG and IBM and has authored a book titled “Mapping Security.”
