Rod Makoske Named Lockheed Corporate Engineering & Operations SVP, Keoki Jackson Appointed CTO


lockheed martinRod Makoske, formerly a group vice president at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), has been named senior VP for corporate engineering, technology and operations and a corporate officer.

He will oversee production, supply chain, sustainment, program management and technical functions as well as manage recruitment, development and retention programs for the firm’s engineering and operations workforce in his new position, Lockheed said Wednesday.

The 27-year company veteran most recently served as a technical operations VP within the mission systems and training business, supervising more than 6, 000 engineers in the organization.

Lockheed also announced Keoki Jackson, a former program excellence lead, will take a new role as a VP and chief technology officer at the company.

Jackson will hold responsibility over technology strategy and maturation as well as collaborative research and development projects with other companies, academia and government agencies.

He worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a NASA graduate research fellow before he moved to Lockheed in 1997.
