Mitch Lawrence, a three-decade national security veteran and a former executive at the former global security and solutions business of USIS, has joined PAE as vice president of security and counterintelligence.
In his new role, Lawrence will oversee PAE’s security infrastructure and work to help the company support its customers’ requirements in security.
“We recognize our responsibility to protect our customer’s information and safeguard our own systems against the increasingly vulnerable security environment, ” said PAE CEO John Heller, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 list for 2015.
Lawrence’s counterintelligence responsibilities include defense of the company’s business operations and management of a potential risk of losing intellectual property and sensitive information.
He will also work to identify vulnerabilities to information threats, the company said.
