Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA February 27, 2015 – Betty Sapp, National Reconnaissance Office director, has been inducted into the Wash100 most influential leaders in GovCon for her leadership role in intelligence operations.

Sapp served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and held government leadership roles in acquisition, business, finance and program management.
She joined the CIA in 1997 and in 2005 was appointed director for business plans and operations at NRO. In 2007 she held the post of Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Portfolio, Programs and Resources), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, in 2009 was the Principal Deputy Director of the NRO, and in 2012 was appointed Director, NRO.
