Jill Singer, a former partner at consulting firm Deep Water Point, has joined AT&T (NYSE: T) as vice president of national security for the company’s government solutions unit.
The 27-year public and private sector veteran will oversee the subsidiary’s work to deliver technology products and services to customers across the U.S. national security market, AT&T said Thursday.
âJill is a proven leader with strong federal government industry experience and relationships across national security agencies in particular, ” said AT&T Government Solutions President Kay Kapoor, also a Wash100 Award recipient.
Singer served as the National Reconnaissance Office‘s chief information officer before she joined Deep Water Point in August 2013.
She also held leadership roles within the Central Intelligence Agency and the State Department, as well as worked for Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), GE Aerospace and IBM (NYSE: IBM).
