General Atomics to Configure US Air Force’s Predator, Reaper UAS for $375M


General-Atomics-Aeronautical-Systems-LogoGeneral Atomics’ aeronautical systems company has received $375.2 million contract to configure the U.S. Air Force’s Predator/Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles and maintain the systems’ software.

The company will also provide logistics support, inventory control point management, flight operations support, depot repair and depot field maintenance for the UAS, the Defense Department said Dec. 23.

General Atomics will perform work at its Poway, California-based facility through Dec. 31, 2015.
