BAE Systems will provide lifecycle engineering and technical support for the U.S. Navy‘s on-shore and at-sea communication and combat systems under a five-year contract potentially worth $146.7 million.
The contract includes systems integration for the Naval Air Systems Command‘s computers, communication and combat systems, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems, BAE said Monday.
DeEtte Gray,  president of BAE’s intelligence and security segment, said the company has been providing integration support for Navy onboard systems to bolster mission readiness for 30 years.
“In addition to aiding in mission readiness, BAE Systemsâ lifecycle services directly support NAVAIRâs strategic cost-reduction initiatives, â Gray added.
