Steven Omick Joins Vencore as ACS Lab President; Mac Curtis Comments

Steven Omick, formerly president and CEO of scientific and engineering research company Rincon Research, has joined Vencore as president of its Applied Communication Sciences research and engineering laboratory.

Omick has succeeded the retired Brent Greene as head of the lab,  Vencore said Wednesday.

“We are grateful for Brent’s leadership and dedication in garnering numerous successes during his tenure and providing exceptional service to our customers in both the federal and commercial sectors, ” said Mac Curtis,  Vencore president and CEO.

Curtis added that Omick, an 18-year intelligence community veteran, brings a background in high-technology services to Vencore as the company seeks to “provide a direct benefit” to clients.

The Basking Ridge, New Jersey-based ACS lab provides research, consulting and engineering services to government agencies, telecommunications carriers and commercial enterprises in the areas of communications, data analytics and cybersecurity.
