Raytheon to Design Defense Operation Center for Qatar Under FMS Program; Dave Gulla Comments


Raytheon logoRaytheon Co. (NYSE: RTN) will design an air and missile defense operation center for Qatar under a $75.6 million foreign military sale contract between the Middle East nation and the U.S.

The defense operation center incorporates the Patriot system, Early Warning Radar and terminal high altitude area defense system, Raytheon said Monday.

“The ADOC will have the latest command and control, cyber and information assurance capability in partnership with the Air Force to enhance regional security and meet the state of Qatar’s requirements, “ said Dave Gulla, a vice president at Raytheon.

The center will integrate with Qatar’s Raytheon-built air operations center.
