Jerry Briggs to Lead CACI’s Healthcare, Litigation, Enterprise IT Business; Ken Asbury Comments

Jerry Briggs, a 30-year veteran at Accenture (NYSE: ACN), has joined CACI International (NYSE: CACI) as executive vice president and business group manager for the healthcare, litigation and enterprise information technology markets.

CACI President and CEO Ken Asbury said Monday that Briggs’ business experience will help drive the company’s efforts to deliver investigation and litigation support, and healthcare and enterprise IT services.

In his new role, Briggs will report to John Mengucci, chief operating officer and president of CACI’s U.S. operations, and lead a team of 2, 000 employees who serve defense, intelligence and federal civilian clients.

Briggs most recently served as COO of Accenture’s health and public service business in North America and managing director for the U.S. federal business.

Sixteen executives from the private sector have been appointed to serve on the National Defense Industrial Association’s board of directors for a term of up to six years. Herbert “Hawk” Carlisle, president and CEO of NDIA, said in a statement released Monday the new board members bring a “deep knowledge bank” he believes will help the organization sustain its mission while supporting the defense industrial base.
