The company said Wednesday it also named Kevin Stiles, most recently vice president of engineering, as chief technology officer.
Harman has managed the firm’s technology offerings for DoD enterprise and tactical environments since March 2013 and will be responsible for corporate operations and growth strategies as COO.
The 22-year industry veteran has also held leadership roles at CACI International (NYSE: CACI), Teaming Associates, BBN and GSI.
Stiles, a more than two-decade contracting veteran, will oversee an engineering group that develops 4G/LTE products and integrates customized technologies.
He previously served as a vice president in Ericsson‘s federal business organization, where he managed support services for a DoD satellite development project.
In that role, he also oversaw design, development, and launch of the company’s Internet Protocol multimedia subsystem offerings across North America.
