David Petty Joins Nuix as Commercial Sales SVP; Jim Kent Comments


big data2David Petty, a 20-year technology industry veteran, has been named senior vice president of commercial sales at data management company Nuix.

He will oversee the company’s electronic discovery, investigation, cybersecurity and data governance offerings in the North American market, Nuix said Tuesday.

“Dave understands the data challenges commercial entities face and is positioned to deliver the solutions that only Nuix can provide, ” said Jim Kent, global head of investigations and cybersecurity.

Petty most recently served as director of worldwide channels and emerging markets at Systech International and has also held positions at Damballa and X1 Discovery.

He started his career as an enterprise account manager at Symantec (NASDAQ: SYME)  and spent more than 10 years at Guidance Software in various roles.
