Mary Craft: NGA Taps Leidos for Maritime Geospatial Project Support


LeidosLogoLeidos (NYSE: LDOS) has been awarded a potential $31 million contract to provide geospatial services for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency‘s data services program.

The data services will serve as a source for the completion of maritime products such as the U.S. Navy‘s ship navigation digital data and digital files for hardcopy charts and maritime publications,  Leidos said Monday.

“We look forward to providing advanced geospatial solutions to further automate NGA’s effort to deliver timely and accurate maritime products to its customers, ” said Mary Craft,  Leidos group president.

The contract contains a one-year base period and three one-year options and Leidos will perform work at its facilities in Chantilly, Virginia and St. Louis.

Leidos will work with NGA to establish the product support system for the National System for Geospatial Intelligence Map of the World.
