Zane Rowe Takes EVP, CFO Roles at EMC; Joe Tucci Comments

Zane Rowe, formerly North America sales lead for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL),  has joined EMC Corp. (NYSE: EMC) as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

He will report to Joe Tucci, EMC chairman and CEO, with responsibility for the company’s internal and external financial operations for its consolidated business, EMC said Wednesday.

“Zane brings to EMC a unique blend of extremely valuable skills and experience both as a world-class CFO in complex, multi-business environments and as a highly- accomplished corporate strategist, “ Tucci said.

Zane previously served as CFO at United Continental Holdings Inc. before he joined Apple, where he reported directly to CEO Tim Cook.

He was also Continental Airlines‘ EVP and CFO prior to his role at United Continental Holdings.
