Novetta Solutions has sought to boost the market reach of its big data analytics portfolio with the acquisitions of Digital Results Group and Sentinel Applied Analytics for undisclosed amounts.
The purchase includes Boston-based DRG’s data collecting and sharing software platform for multi-intelligence command and control applications and Sentinel’s applied statistical tools that aim to interpret patterns and relationships in data, Novetta said Friday.
“We are delighted to welcome DRG and Sentinel into the Novetta family as their specialized software and solutions add niche capabilities to our analytics offerings, †said Novetta CEO Peter LaMontagne.
“The acquisitions also enable expansion into new customer sets†in defense, law enforcement, the intelligence community, commercial and financial sectors, he added.
The DRG technology works to process sensor and intelligence data from different security domains, a web-based tool that Novetta says is designed to perform operational support in real time.
