Marine Corps Selects 6 Firms for Tactical Research Support IDIQ


explosive disposalSix companies have been selected to compete on a potential $70 million contract for combat research, analysis and operations support services to the U.S. Marine Corps.

The base period is slated to run through Oct. 21, 2015 and work could extend for two additional years if options are exercised, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

Contractors will deliver the professional services to USMC Combat and Development Command’s operational and analysis division.

USMC received 19 bids for the multiple-award contract via the Internet and will obiligate funds upon issuance of individual task orders.

The awardees are:

  • Booz Allen Hamilton
  • Group W
  • Innovative Decisions
  • ManTech International (NASDAQ: MANT)
  • Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC)
  • Power Ten
