DynCorp Extends Mgmt Work for AF’s War Reserve Materiel Assets


DyncorpLogoDynCorp International has received $80.3 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to continue managing the branch’s war reserve materiel assets in the Middle East and U.S.

This new award covers the sixth option year under a contract first awarded to DynCorp in 2008, which is worth up to $540.7 million and includes eight one-year options,  the company said Thursday.

DynCorp will handle the Air Force’s receipt, inventory, accountability, maintenance, repair, inspection, serviceability, marking, storage, security, shipping and reporting under the program,

DynCorp will also maintain government property and facilities, as well as support contingency logistics.
