ULA Arm Receives $938M Contract Modification on USAF Launch Vehicle Program


A subsidiary of United Launch Alliance has received a $938.4 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force for continued Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle services for the Delta IV and Atlas V launch vehicles.

United Launch Services will provide services such as program management, space and launch vehicle integration, launch operations and infrastructure sustainment for the fiscal year 2015 program, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

Contract work will be performed through September 2015 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, Cape Canaveral Air Station in Florida and ULA’s base in Littleton, Colorado.

The Air Force, through the Space and Missile Systems Center’s Launch Systems Directorate at the Los Angeles Air Force Base, will obligate $231.8 million in funds at the time of award.
