Fred Graffam Takes Additional Role as DigitalGlobe Interim CFO; Jeffrey Tarr Comments


DigitalGlobeFred Graffam has assumed the role of interim chief financial officer at DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI) in addition to his position as vice president of financial planning and analysis.

Graffam takes the additional role as the company continues to scout for the replacement of Yancey Spruill,  DigitalGlobe said Wednesday.

“Fred’s experience, coupled with the deep bench we have built within the finance organization, will ensure continuity in the management of our finance function while we complete our external search for a CFO, “ said Jeffrey Tarr, DigitalGlobe CEO.

Graffam was previously senior VP of finance for the North America and Asia Pacific regions at Level 3 Communications (NYSE: LVLT) before he joined DigitalGlobe.

After working as public accountant at Deloitte,  the executive transferred to Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) serving as SVP for the company’s Beltway Region from 2008 to 2011 and as SVP of finance for its West Division from 2002 to 2008.
