Nick Hopkinson, formerly head of Computer Sciences Corp.‘s (NYSE: CSC) European security business, has joined Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) as cyber strategy director for the company’s U.K. subsidiary.
The three-decade industry veteran will oversee strategic programs intended to help the company expand its footprint in the European cyber and intelligence market, Northrop said Friday.
He will also manage the firm’s portfolio of technology offerings for kinetic and non-kinetic missions and active response security across electromagnetic and digital environments.
“Nick brings to Northrop Grumman a range of industry and government experience including working across government departments in addressing some of the most critical national security challenges, ” said Andrew Tyler, Northrop CEO for Europe.
Prior to CSC, Hopkinson held operations, delivery and strategy leadership roles at the U.K. Government Communications Headquarters for more than 25 years.
He holds a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge.
