John Dyer to Head AMERICAN SYSTEMS’ Org Development; Peter Smith Comments

american systemsJohn Dyer, formerly president and CEO of Baronian Consulting Group LLC, has joined AMERICAN SYSTEMS as vice president and director of organizational development and knowledge management.

He will lead the company’s efforts to identify business opportunities and also execute the ODKM directorate’s programs within the company’s human capital and managed services portfolio, AMERICAN SYSTEMS said Tuesday.

“John will pioneer new opportunities and elevate existing programs, and we expect that he will act as a significant growth catalyst for the company, ” said Peter Smith, president and CEO of AMERICAN SYSTEMS.

Dyer — 30-plus-year veteran in research, consulting and management roles — previously served as business development and organizational development lead for Digicon Corp. and The CNA Corp., respectively.

He is affiliated with the Armed Forces Communications & Electronic Association and the National Defense Industrial Association.
